Opening: 23 April 2009, 7 p.m. Studio Gallery, together with Impakt (Utrecht), sets up a public space in the heart of Budapest for screening a video selection made by the two institutions together. The project is aimed at providing art on easily accessible surfaces for the people of the city who may be reluctant to enter art institutions or simply do not have relevant information about these phenomena. Studio Gallery will host ENTER1646 (The Hague), a collective of visual artists, for two weeks, and offer an insight into the working methods, mentality and profiles of the two institutions. The gallery will screen selected films of the Vast-Forward programme, organise informal meetings for Dutch and Hungarian artists, and put on display the works developed during their stay. http://studio.c3.hu/studio_galeria/galeria_english/index.html Back |
